How Can I Help You?
Buying and selling real estate in the Florida Keys presents its own to a
satisfactory completion is serious business requiring a professional
who is looking out for your every need.
Born and raised in So. California, Jen attended Stanford University with a
goal of becoming a Veterinarian. Along the way, she got sidetracked (dang
that serendipity!) and ended up as a training consultant for Fortune 500
companies for more than 20 years. In 1993, she moved to Bozeman, MT to
raise her daughter and a few llamas. Tired of the relentless travel schedule,
Jen worked as a mortgage loan processor for a year, then decided her true
calling was real estate. Lured to the Keys by a wonderful man, Jen
continues to be passionate about and dedicated to positive, professional and
enjoyable real estate experiences. When you decide to work with her,
expect hard work, terrific communication, and attention to all of your real
estate needs
Norma Ledesma has been a resident of Dade County since 1957 and
has been involved in real estate for more than 35 years. For more
than 25 years she worked in the legal field as a real estate secretary
and has been a licensed real estate agent since 1992. She is fluent in
English and Spanish. Norma resides primarily in Dade County and has
a second home in the Florida Keys.
Norma is an energetic person always willing to assist you in your real
estate needs.
I have always loved the warmth of the Keys…My family has been coming
to the Keys to fish and dive for 3 generations.

I have lived in South Florida, since age 17 when I earned a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Nursing at Barry University. While working as a nurse
in Miami Beach, I met my husband Steve Leopold, a native Miamian. We
gave up life in the big city and moved to the Keys in our first year of
marriage in 1988. We spent 3 years living aboard a sailboat and cruised
the Bahamas for part of that time before “settling down”. Our first
daughter was born in '92 and our second in '96.
As a true Conch (a person born and raised in the Keys) Ashley knows these islands like
the back of her hand. As the daughter of a backcountry fishing guide she fell in love with
the water and everything else the Keys has to offer. In her spare time you can find
Ashley freediving on a reef, catching fish for dinner or taking a sunset cruise with her
husband and young son.
After graduating from Florida State University Ashley returned home and joined
Freewheeler's Vacation Rental Department. After five years of rentals she made the jump
to Sales. She partnered up with her mother Susan Ashmore and formed THE FLORIDA
KEYS REAL ESTATE TEAM. Together they make the perfect team of creativity and
experience. Two great Realtors for the price of one!
If you are looking for a true Keys lifestyle give her a call. After all, this "Island Lifestyle" is
all she has ever known.
Since starting our family, I have been a full time Mom. I served on the original Board of Directors of the Montessori Island
Charter School in Tavernier and helped it gain its Charter status so that the tuition could be free. I stay involved with both
the Montessori Island Charter School and Plantation Key School as a volunteer several times a week. I have also served on
the Cheeca Club Social Committee. I am active in supporting many local charities including the Mariners Hospital Foundation
and fundraisers for needy community members.

We, as a family, are involved in many local activities such as soccer, swimming, dance, biking and horseback riding. Tennis,
a year round activity here, is my particular favorite as well as my oldest daughter's. My husband is Captain of an offshore
charter fishing boat called the "Yabba Dabba Doo" in Islamorada. He is also president of the Islamorada Charter Boat
Association. He enjoys a very successful career doing what he loves...fishing! As a family we love to fish or just enjoy a
day on the water looking for Roseate Spoonbills, spying elegant dolphins or snorkeling in our gorgeous waters.

I wholeheartedly believe that living here in the Keys is an extreme privilege. We have the best environment for raising a
family and the best weather in the entire country and the best country in the entire world! What better place to invest in real
estate than right here in the Florida Keys!

If you are thinking of making this wonderful community your home or wish to invest in a vacation property, or would like
professional assistance selling your home, it would be my pleasure to help in any way I can. Call me today!

Marie Leger
Marie has been a resident of the Florida Keys
since 1980. Her philosophy of putting the
customer's needs first has enabled her to
develop great relationships in the real estate
business. In addition to sales, Marie also
operates our vacation rentals department.
Whether coming to play or coming to stay,
Marie is able to assist you with all your Florida
Keys property needs.
Born and raised in Washington, DC, one of thirteen children, my parents taught me the value
of work and the importance of personal dedication. After graduating from the University of
Maryland in 1981, I moved to the Florida Keys and fell in love with the environment.

I have been one of the leading Realtors in the Upper Keys since 1988. and am very
dedicated to my business, earning many recognition trophies for Top Producer through the
years. In my spare time, I treasure my time with my husband and children, and all of their
dreams.
I began visiting the Keys, with my family, in the late 70’s, a time when
the Upper Keys was really a small town.   I have witnessed many
changes to the landscape of the islands and the diversity of its residents.

I made the move to Florida to attend college at Florida International
University where I majored in mass communications/broadcast journalism.
Just as I was about to graduate, I met my husband, Rick Miller who is a successful backcountry fishing
guide.  His business and his love of the water led us to make Islamorada our home.    We have three
children, Meghan, Melina and Miles who are typical Keys kids.  They enjoy fishing, boating and watching
the sun set.  Two of our children are competitive springboard divers which has allotted us the opportunity
to develop relationships with many non-Florida residents.

Prior to entering the real estate world, I was employed by a law firm as a legal assistant and office
manager.   Shortly after the birth of our third child, I left the law firm and entered the real estate world as a
property appraiser.  My experience as an appraiser has increased my knowledge of the history of a large
number of Upper Keys properties.

Community service is an essential part of my life.   I have been a member of the Upper Keys Business and
Professional Women’s organization for the past 10 years.  I have served on the Board of Directors and I
have chaired the auction committee.  I am a graduate of Leadership Monroe Class VIII and I have served on
the Board of Directors for Leadership Monroe.  For the past 8 years, I have served on the Village of
Islamorada’s Parks and Recreation committee.  I am a member of the Plantation Key School Advisory
Committee and the Coral Shores High School Advisory Committee.

Hobbies/Interests:

I am an avid reader.  I spend my spare time improving my cooking and baking skills.  I also enjoy teaching
children how to cook.  I also enjoy coaching an Odyssey of the Mind team.

I pride myself on a reputation for providing the utmost in professional service. Whether you are buying or
selling a property, I'll bring my knowledge of the area and my expertise in real estate to assist you in
making the right decisions.  Let me help you make your next real estate transaction a complete success.
