I grew up in the Midwest and moved to south Florida in 1980. I have always wanted to live
on a tropical island and in 1999, my dreams came true. I was lucky enough to marry my
best friend Scott, whom happened to live on Plantation Key. What more could a girl ask
for, a great guy and living in Paradise!
I truly love the Keys lifestyle, it’s friendly, relaxed and fun. My husband, my dog ‘Bo’ and I
love to go boating, camping, fishing, diving, hiking and anything else that lets us
experience the great outdoors. We love the water, and for us, there is no better place in

hibernation. After earning degrees in psychology, criminal justice, and education, she
decided it was time to pursue a career where the summer sun shines warmly all year long.
Upon arrival in Marathon, Kate spent five years as a marine mammal educator and dolphin
trainer. It was a rewarding career and when it was time to move onto another adventure,
she chose real estate. Kate found her piece of paradise in the Keys and looks forward to
