Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, I
worked in the field of Graphic Art, specializing in the design and development of
marketing and publishing materials for various production and publication companies. I
found myself drawn to the fabulous Florida Keys 12 years ago by the tropical colors and
climate and have gradually melded my talents and abilities into the field of real estate, in
which I have been working for over 6 of those years. I believe that I bring to the Marr
Team a unique combination of knowledge, talents and experience.
From my three-year experience as a Legal Assistant to a real estate attorney, I gained
invaluable insight and knowledge regarding the workings of the legal and technical
aspects involved in real estate, from dealing with the intricate issues of land use to
assisting with closings. With over 20 years of experience as a graphic designer, I have
developed an ability to grab the viewer’s eye with the product. For the last two years
prior to joining Marr Properties, I served as the Marketing Director for another real estate
company, where I created direct marketing materials and artwork for Realtors in order to
best present their customers’ properties.
I currently serve on the Advisory Board for the Florida Keys Council of the Arts and also
as a member of the Florida Keys Artist’s Guild and the Purple Isles Artist’s Guild. I served
on the Board of my own neighborhood association for three years. Not only have I found
the Keys a beautiful place to live, but this magnificent chain of islands has served as a
splendid backdrop and inspiration for my passion for fine art painting, the arts in general
and the art of tropical living. In my artwork, I attempt to create a visual transcendence for
the viewer — a place of tropical beauty between the sun and the sea, where the spirit
can rest and rejuvenate itself.
I find that living in the Keys provides a constant series of opportunities to enjoy and
appreciate the wonder of the art of island, ocean, nature and sun everywhere one turns.
I have learned that there is an art to bringing together the right property with the right
person: the right picture with the right frame. As a true artist in buying and selling

Pam moved to the Keys in 1974 with her family. She attended Marathon High School and
Florida Keys Community College where she recieved her degree in business. Pam has
held an active Real Estate License since 1978. In 1981 Pam and her husband Kenny
started a family. They now have 2 wonderful daughters and a beautiful Grand Daughter.
Pam has been very active in her community. Her family coporation has built 2 affordable
housing units and was instrumental in bulding Rotary Park. Pam was a member of The
Marathon Jaycees for 10 years and as President recieved the outstanding president's
award from Ron Saunders.

Karen has been a keys resident for over 30 years. Her local experience is extensive.
Prior to her real estate license in the early 80's, Karen owned and operated a marina
and a small air strip in Key Largo in what is now known as Port Largo and Ocean Cay.
She has some incredible stories of what the keys used to be.
After obtaining her real estate license, and after a short period of time, became a
Broker partner of a large real estate franchise in Key Largo.

Walt Hagan is one of those special achievers in management and leadership who is a
stand up thinker. His high point of management was with a retail chain in south Florida
when he trained and developed 275 employees and that store achieved the highest profit
margin and the lowest shortage in the Jefferson chain. He also managed stores with
W. T. Grant and Goodyear. For 25 years he was self-employed in home & marine repair,
which was a stark change from 13 years in retail management but success showed
itself through his being a self starter.
Of the 40+ years living in Florida he also spent 7 years in Costa Rica as an independent missionary
with his second wife, Jill.
Walt’s current focus with Keyes will be sales & listing businesses with or without commercial
property, an area of real estate professionalism that is truly needed in our communities. He has also
experienced foreign business & real estate sales.
